This is an update on Copper. Are you one of those people who really wants to have a bully breed dog, but you want one that is dog friendly. Well Copper's foster parents want you to know, that he gets along with everyone except the cat. copper is a big loving baby dog. He is full of energy, and his people think he deserves a more active family. Copper can go anywhere with you. He loves to ride in the car, he would probably drive if you let him. He likes every dog that he has ever met. Small to large, he is up for play, and won't be to rough. His foster mom is in a wheel chair much of the time, or up on two canes. Copper is careful around her, she just tells him to back up.....and he does. copper is sweet, affectionate, and funny. He will entertain you with all the things he does. His foster mom sewed a flannel coat for copper to wear during the winter. She used one of her husbands old flannel shirts. Now when Paul gets dressed in the morning, he and copper head out to his work shop, wearing the same outfit. It is very funny. This is a young dog, with an old face. He has now earned the right to come in the house, and he really enjoys being inside. He greets the older dogs, Angel, and Mr. Puppy, and then he looks around for the cat. Then he settles down sometimes in the wheelchair if it's not taken, or just on the floor. He stays awhile, and then heads back outside. He is pure love. Please give him a chance. He is waiting for you.
To describe him: He has pit bull ears, a boxer face and body, and webbed feet.
He loves:
water, riding in the car, belly-rubs, he wants to grow up to be a lap dog, he isn't afraid of fireworks or fly swatters, he snores, he thinks cats are to chase, and he responds to commands SIT, NO, and BACK UP.
He" talks" and " complains" like a boxer "Aaarrrgghh". He doesn't dig or jump......He has puppy energy, that needs exercise, and attention everyday of the week.
